The song is about how we seek dialogue with people around us every day. You decide whether or not you want to be genuine and show the world your true colors, or mask yourself entirely, leaving those around you void of any real color, emotion, and stimulation.

The music industry is a beautiful monster. There are those who will tell you what you want to hear in order to get something out of you. That type of dialogue, rather lexicon, has no place in fostering a healthy human interaction. There are plenty that know how to be real, honest, pure humans. Every industry has a farce, this song is about that. Dance with those that are colorful and real, and be rid of those that are grey and trying to get ahead by any means necessary.
